Iran Leading Country Supporting Palestine: Islamic Jihad
Addressing a rally in the city of Karaj, 30 km west of Tehran, held on Wednesday in support of the people of Gaza, Nasser Abu Sharif said Palestinians are supported by countries like Lebanon and Yemen and the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been a pioneering base in backing Palestine.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has always supported the cause of Palestine, which is a source of pride, he said.
Abu Sharif noted that Ayatollah Khamenei described the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, launched by the Gaza resistance forces against Israel on October 7, as a great victory since the very first day.
He also said the people of the Gaza Strip who are facing a global war will emerge victorious in this war.

While the armies of Arab countries stood against Israel for only six days in the 1968 war, the people of Gaza have managed to withstand the Israeli regime’s onslaught for 66 days even though the Zionists have dropped an equivalent of 5 Hiroshima atomic bombs on the coastal enclave, he went on to say.
Abu Sharif also noted that some 500 Israeli forces have been killed in Gaza and 5,000 others have been injured.
